What is unique about The Castlegate Practice @ Buckminster?
The Practice is located in a quiet idyllic village away from the stresses of town and city life, whilst being only 3.5 miles from the A1. The journey from the A1 is relaxing with regular sightings of red kite, buzzards and pheasants, to name but a few. There are fabulous views across the Vale.
The Practice building is the best of both worlds. Whilst the barn was built in the late 1880’s the sensitive conversion utilises an extremely modern contemporary design. The building is flooded with natural light. Underfloor heating from a biomass boiler ensures patient comfort and warmth.
The Practice has been designed to accommodate all patients, irrespective of disability.
Our aim was to create a modern Practice, combining the best components of osteopathy and physiotherapy in a setting which puts the patient first. We hope you will agree.
The practitioners have developed a unique style of combining their respective disciplines. For more information please read the page “Who should I see?”
Brief History of The Castlegate Practice
The Practice started in 1989 behind a small pharmacy. In 1991 it moved to Castlegate, Grantham. In 1996 it moved to the Queen Victoria Memorial Building where it remained for 20 years. The Practice, in March 2016, moved out to Buckminster. The Practice has seen over 10,500 patients since it was created. The decision to move out into such wonderful surroundings is instantly understood on arrival. Come and see us, we are within striking distance of Grantham (10 miles), Melton Mowbray (9 miles), Oakham (12 miles) and Stamford (18 miles), being just 5 minutes off the A1 on quiet country roads.
